Globoid Gear
Globoid gear systems consist of a specially shaped (globoidal form) worm and its matching gear. Thanks to this unique geometry, multiple teeth are in contact simultaneously between the worm and the wheel. As a result, load distribution is improved, surface pressures are reduced, and higher torques can be transmitted safely.
Offering higher efficiency compared to conventional worm gear systems, globoid gears are especially preferred in heavy industry, high-load, and continuous-duty applications.
